What is a deep tissue massage?
Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle. It goes after the knots and stubborn tight spots that a lighter massage only skims over.
It can feel intense in places, and some people feel a little tender the next day. Speak up during the session if the pressure is more than you want.
