What is a oil massage?

An oil massage uses massage oil on the skin so the therapist’s hands can glide in long, smooth strokes. It feels very different from a traditional Thai massage, which is done through clothing with more pressing and stretching.

The pressure can be soft or firm. Most people find it warming and easy to relax into. If you have a skin sensitivity or allergy, mention it before you start.

  • People who like smooth, flowing strokes over pressing and stretching
  • Dry, tired skin as well as tired muscles
  • Winding down at the end of the day
